We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Diagnostic Sonographer!

Summary:

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., drainages, needle placements, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Performs general ultrasound imaging examinations.
  • Performs portable studies independently in patient rooms.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures proper documentation of procedures.
  • Collaborates with Radiologist and medical staff for diagnosis.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Assiciates Degree in Sonography.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be organized, a team player and detail-oriented
  • Good computer and math skills
  • ACLS / BLS certification preferred
