Landmark Hospital of Florida has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Dietitian to join our dedicated and professional team, where we are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to our patients.

Shift: 4 week contract

Summary: Independent role responsible for nutritional assessments and follow-up of patients with nutritional deficits in the hospital. They participate in team treatment planning for all patients and provide nutritional education to patients, families, and staff.


  • Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards
  • Monitor medical facility activities to ensure adherence to standards or regulations
  • Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans, and provides nutritional counseling
  • Analyze patient data to determine patient needs or treatment goals
  • Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation
  • Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life
  • Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient or client
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment
  • Conduct research to increase knowledge about medical issues
  • Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance
  • May supervise activities of workers engaged in food preparation and service
  • Coordinates with pharmacist to calculate appropriate TPN and PPN orders
  • Chooses adequate enteral nutrition formula, calculate rates to meet nutritional needs
  • Recommends supplements, labs, consults for Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapists, Gastrointestinal doctors, etc.


  • Registered Dietitian with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Licensed Dietitian with Georgia State Department of Health
  • Must be self-motivated with critical thinking and leadership skills
  • Experience in Total Parenteral Nutrition, Partial Parenteral Nutrition, and Enteral Nutrition preferred
  • Working knowledge of electronic medical records preferred
