Landmark Hospital of Athens, Georgia has an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Technician to join our dedicated and professional team. Landmark Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.

Summary: Provide patient care services via diagnostic radiology exams/procedures utilizing CT, x-ray and c-arm equipment. Will also perform other administrative duties as assigned, including scheduling of radiology department staff.  


  • Verifies patient history and procedure/examination information
  • Obtains and documents patient information including history, pregnancy status, procedure(s) performed, and problems encountered
  • Produces quality images within prescribed amount of time; labels in accordance with established guidelines
  • Produces images that are complete and of sufficient quality to be easily read by radiologist
  • Assumes responsibility for provisions of physical and psychological needs of patient during radiology procedure(s)
  • Applies principles of radiation safety practices, infection control procedures to protect self and others
  • Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures


  • Vocational /Graduate of an AMA radiologic technology program
  • Registered Radiologic Technician by the State of GA
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(CT)(R)
  • Experience with: CT, EKG, Portable X-ray, Portable Mini C-arm, PACS
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year hospital experience, critical care/acute care preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work flexible schedule
