Landmark Hospital of Joplin Missouri has an exciting opportunity for a Floor Technician to join our dedicated and professional team. Landmark Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.

Shift: Night Shift

Summary: Under general direction clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility. Duties include cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing of tile floors in the patient care area. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors within the hospital.
  • Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to policy and procedure.
  • Use and maintain equipment properly.
  • Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely.
  • Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs "wet floor"
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Reports safety hazards a appropriate
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year hospital floor tech experience
  • Understands Safety Data Sheets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Detail and goal oriented
  • Maintain regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
