Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join our dedicated and professional team with an emphasis in our brand new state of the art Operating Room. Summary: Support the Corporate Director of Supply Chain Management in minimizing overall costs and maximizing the savings and benefits attributable to implementation of the Supply Chain business plan. Responsible for all department supply locations including equipment/supply management. Will oversee replenishment, inventory management and JIT distribution services as well as direct oversight for contract management and value analysis activities.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and maintain par levels and reorder points for all specialty supplies pertaining to all departments including the procurement of supplies and equipment for specified department procedures
  • Manage the coordination of complex systems, including instruments and implants needed for specific procedures and is accountable for monitoring these systems
  • Serve as a liaison between the Operating Room, Sterile Processing and Supply Chain staff
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for Purchasing Services Team to include; processing customer requisitions, vendor solicitation, evaluation and selection, issuance of purchase orders and document retention and customer and vendor relationship management
  • Collaborate with other supply chain operational areas to design and implement solutions to supply chain issues and systems
  • Manage and execute new Supply Chain initiatives as assigned
  • Strengthen culture, engage clinical teams, drive clinical integration, advance quality and patient safety and improve operation performance
  • Provide guidance and leadership regarding product standards, contracted vendors, changes in processes and all applicable fiscal policies that govern supply chain activities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitors program compliance through reports and ongoing analysis of trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Five years of progressive managerial experience leading purchasing, strategic sourcing and vendor performance functions
    • At least two years in supervisory capacity within healthcare purchasing, materials management and/or surgical environment
  • Advanced aptitude of MMIS platforms and Supply Chain Management tools
  • Experience and an understanding of various analytics tools available to the supply chain management team
  • Must have the ability to analyze financial and technical data and possess an in depth understanding of Supply Chain Management
  • Effective interpersonal skills and exceptional service skills
  • Sound decision-making and the ability to present processes and policies in a simple and thorough fashion to all levels of the organization is an absolute necessity
  • CMRP certification is preferred and encouraged
