The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience while ensuring patient care is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently.

The Licensed Practical Nurse operates within Landmark Hospital's Core Values to provide in-depth clinical expertise under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse ensures that care is delivered within the scope of practice of the Utah Nurse Practice Act, individual competency levels, regulatory guidelines, and Landmark Hospital policies and procedures.

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for professional communication and collaboration with other health care team members to ensure the achievement of desired patient outcomes. This includes; but is not limited to, collaborating with Physicians, Pharmacists, RN's, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Wound Care, Dietary, Social Work and Dialysis. Other responsibilities may include; assisting with procedures, performing phlebotomy, processing lab specimens and the safe operation of medical equipment. This position reports to the RN Manager/Supervisor and is non-exempt.

This individual must be highly detail and goal-oriented, with exceptional analytic, critical-thinking and time-management skills. They must possess the ability to accurately evaluate patient conditions and to react quickly in emergency situations. They must also have a positive and empathetic personality with the ability to work effectively with others as part of a multidisciplinary team. It is also vital that they have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and consistently display a professional attitude.

• Active Georgia LPN License

• BLS certification required
