Landmark Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbia, MO has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Manager (RN) with a rehabilitation background to join our dedicated and professional team. Shift: Fulltime

Summary: A registered professional nurse who assists in the organization, development, management and administration of day to day nursing activities, including supervision of RN, LPN, UT, Wound Care Department and Education Department of Rehabilitation Hospital. This position is a working manager, where the RN is expected to regularly cover shifts as needed.


  • Coordinates patient assignments for upcoming shifts
  • Performs daily rounding to maintain knowledge of patient's conditions throughout shift
  • Informs physicians of any changing patient condition requiring intervention or change of care plan
  • Addresses any patient, family or physician concern or complaint
  • Conducts daily safety huddle/meeting with staff and serves as resource person and assists staff
  • Participates in auditing processes for quality control
  • Completes appropriate documentation, shift evaluation and assigns shift meal and breaks
  • Welcomes new hires, takes an active role in onboarding, and participates in ongoing continued education of staff as needed.
  • Responds to all code blue alarms
  • Ensures Med Dispense is free of discrepancies
  • Promotes positive communication and teamwork


  • Current RN licensure in state of Missouri
  • BLS, ACLS certification
  • 2 year/Associates degree with management experience
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Team, detail and goal oriented
  • Positive, professional and empathetic demeanor
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
